The Jewish Comedy Project is a celebration of Jewish culture that’s open to everyone! Our talented all-Jewish cast performs in comedy shows that are jam-packed with entertaining sketches, true stories, songs, videos, and more! We also offer interactive improv workshops for anyone who wants to laugh, build confidence, and embrace their Jewish identity.

What Are You Hoping to Learn from the Initiative?

Believe it or not, these comedians are teaching me what it means to be Jewish. I never really knew what Jewish culture was until our cast started swapping stories in the writers room and I realized out that the other performers’ families were just like mine! This impact has spread to reach our audiences too who describe many of our sketches as “cathartic”— when we play characters that are based on our own family members, we find ways to connect with Jewish families everywhere!
