Albert Closas Oliveras
Global Community Manager
Albert is a Global Community Manager, supporting our community builders located across Europe and beyond to be leaders in creating meaningful, welcoming experiences that serve the young adult Jewish community. Albert loves getting to work with young community leaders from all over the world and is inspired to lead the change they want to see.
Born and raised in Barcelona, after earning their BA in Art History in Spain and Germany, Albert worked in education, social work, and the medical field before they started working for a Jewish cultural center in Barcelona. He has facilitated workshops and debates in activist and community spaces (including Moishe House Barcelona) on topics ranging from animal rights to gender and sexual diversity, often looking at the intersection with Judaism. Albert also graduated from Paideia, the European Institute for Jewish Studies.
