Ilan Haskel
Accounting Associate
Ilan is an Accounting Associate at Moishe House, where he supports the Finance team in its day-to-day accounting operations through a variety of functions. While receiving his undergraduate degree in Psychology from The University of Chicago, Ilan worked closely with the Jewish community on campus, helping Hillel with much of its programming as well as serving as President and Treasurer of Alpha Epsilon Pi, the University’s Jewish fraternity.
Ilan’s professional career has taken him in many different directions before arriving at non-profit finance, seeing him spend time working in startups and as a professional recording artist (yes, for money!). He loves the Moishe House mission, and believes it’s serving a crucial role in making Jewish community-building accessible to an important demographic. In his free time, Ilan still writes and records music under the name ‘little dipper’, occasionally playing live shows in his hometown of Chicago.
