Lisa Marx Cotherman

Lisa was an active community member of Moishe House Charlotte, and when she heard of a job opening at the organization’s East Coast headquarters, she knew she had to apply. As Senior Grants Manager, she writes and reports on hundreds of grants that provide support for everything from residents building peer-led programming for their communities to MHWOW hosts creating intimate gatherings for their friends to Peer-Led Retreat hosts leading innovative experiences based on their passions and beyond. To wind down at the end of a long day managing Moishe House’s grants apparatus, Lisa will never say no to watching any episode of The Office or Parks & Rec.

Lisa was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, and received her B.A. in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in international studies from the University of North Carolina at Asheville.
