Sandra Jerusalmi
Moishe House Paris, Resident
Jewish Background
Sandra’s upbringing in the Paris suburbs included religious school, Jewish winter and summer camps, and a family that was very involved in the local Jewish community. But after graduating from university, Sandra’s Jewish path was unclear.
Moishe House Connection
Enter Moishe House, where Sandra organized programs even before becoming a resident. From a lecture on Jewish feminism, to a summer learning program with a popular educator from Israel, to a Tu B’Shevat seder where she gave her first ever d’var Torah, Sandra found her Jewish home at Moishe House.
Building Community
Sandra participated in a Moishe House Learning Retreat in Brussels where she met Jewish young adults from Israel, India, Uganda, South Africa, and throughout Europe who, like her, cared about creating inspiring Jewish moments for their peers.
