About Us

Welcome to Hoboken, the “Mile Square City”, home of the best restaurants, nightlife and culture and of course the most delicious Mozzarella (a.k.a. Mutz) in all of New Jersey! Step off the PATH, take a ten-minute walk uptown and you’ll find your local Moishe House. Jill, Elvin, and Mitch enjoy cooking a monthly Shabbat dinner, winning trivia at Maxwell’s, happy hours, volunteering at the local animal shelter and teaching the community how to make Shakshuka and Hummus! At Moishe House Hoboken, our goal is to bring social experiences, community service, Jewish culture and learning opportunities to the community in a whole new way.
